Back in 2019, our founder was sitting in a cramped university library in Saskatoon, surrounded by conflicting nutrition studies and fad diet books. The realization hit hard — people weren't getting clearer information about food balance; they were getting more confused.
What began as a personal quest to understand why her grandmother's simple eating habits kept her healthier than modern diet trends eventually became something bigger. We started small, hosting kitchen table conversations with neighbors in Vilnius about practical food choices that actually work.
Those conversations revealed something powerful: people didn't need another complicated meal plan or restrictive diet. They needed honest, straightforward guidance about creating balance in their daily food choices without the overwhelming noise of conflicting advice.
